Neha Patel
BSc HBKin, MScPT Physiotherapist
Physiotherapist, Neha Patel, completed her BSc with specialized honours in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University, where she developed an interest in human movement, anatomy and exercise physiology. During her undergrad Neha began working as physio assistant at a busy nursing home where she worked alongside many different healthcare professionals. During this time Neha’s academic and professional experiences led her to pursue her MSc in Rehabilitation Science in Physical Therapy from England at the University of Brighton, where she graduated in 2020.
Neha has experience working with different populations including adults and geriatrics with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardio-respiratory conditions in both private care and the hospital setting. As a new graduate she is eager to pursue a variety of courses in acupuncture, Women’s Health and Mulligan’s techniques. She is driven to help patients manage their pain and achieve their rehabilitation goals by using a combination of physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy and an individualized exercise program. By combining hands-on treatment with therapeutic exercise, she aims to help her patients manage their pain and live strong, pain-free lives.
Outside of practice, Neha enjoys travelling, cycling, painting, kayaking, and spending time with friends and family.
Neha has experience working with different settings including hospital rehabilitation and private practice. She enjoys being a part of the Health Centre of Milton’s team and working with other health care professionals!
